There has always been reports of NeNe walking away from the show and most recently, her best friend seemingly further fueled the rumors with her statement on her talk show.

AceShowbiz - NeNe Leakes is not leaving "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" just yet. The Bravo personality has finally broken her silence on her Instagram account amid reports about her departure from the popular reality TV show.

NeNe appeared to deny the speculations about her exit from the show in her recent post on the photo-sharing site. "WHO SAID DAT!?!?! #SMH," so she wrote alongside a photo of her on Tuesday, January 21.

There has always been reports of NeNe walking away from the show. Most recently, her best friend Wendy Williams seemingly further fueled the rumors with her statement on her talk show.

In the Tuesday, January 21 episode of "The Wendy Williams Show", the 55-year-old TV host told her audience that she had gotten a text message from NeNe announcing that she is quitting the long-running Bravo reality series. "I took a break between commercials, my office is right there behind the set. I had to go to the bathroom and so I looked at my phone between commercials. And NeNe texts, 'I'm quitting,' " Wendy told guest Jerry O'Connell. "I'm surprised I got it, because I have no service in my office, but I got it."

"I know something about NeNe that you all will cry, be sad and feel bad for her," she shared. "She's carrying the weight of a huge thing on her shoulders. I’m not going to say it, she’s got to say it. But in my opinion, NeNe, you need this platform to explain the other part of your life."

"Forget arguing with them broads -- you've got that secret, and that secret is going to melt their hearts. Because when she shared it with me, I cried with her," she added.

However, Wendy thought that it might not be a good decision for NeNe to leave the show. "In my opinion NeNe, you need this platform to explain the other part of your life. Forget hair pieces and arguing with them broads. You got that secret and that secret is going to melt their hearts," Wendy continued saying.

However, it's safe to assume that it's not true. In addition to NeNe's denial on her Instagram account, her rep had explained the situation. Shutting down the rumors, the rep claimed to TooFab that it was more like to be a case of "venting" to a friend.

"It's been an especially difficult couple of weeks for Nene, and she was venting to her friend in private correspondence. Nothing has been confirmed or officially decided for next season," the rep said.
