The Argentine model and actress says being in a relationship with the 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood' actor comes with a downside because of the 'judgment and negativity.'

AceShowbiz - Camilla Morrone is well aware that being in a romantic relationship with a Hollywood A-lister is not all sunshine and roses. In fact, the girlfriend of Leonardo DiCaprio spilled in a new magazine interview that the attention she got from dating the "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" came as "a little bit of a bummer."

The 22-year-old model shared her thoughts on the matter when sitting down with WSJ magazine for her Young Hollywood Portfolio feature. "More exposure leads to more judgment and negativity," she confided. "It's a little bit of a bummer because you're really trying to do good work and be nice and be a good person, and in the meantime...people wish negative things upon you."

Despite the backlash she received for her large age-gap romance with DiCaprio, the "Mickey and the Bear" actress tried to not let the negativity wear her down. "It would never take away the joy of the craft that I get to do," she wisely explained.

Morrone was first spotted getting cozy with DiCaprio at Coachella in April 2019. She has since been bombarded with criticism for her 23-year age gap with the Oscar winner. Back in July, she found herself flooded with mean comments for seemingly comparing their relationship to that of Lauren Bacall and Humphrey Bogart.

Refusing to let the critiques slide, the step-daughter of veteran actor Al Pacino fired back in a video she posted on her Instagram Story feed. "…my God, people are so mean and full of anger with people that they know nothing about," she said. "I guess I just hope on this Friday that people learn to live with a little less hatred and place their time and interests elsewhere, because living without hatred feels pretty good."

Months later, Morrone once again defended her relationship with the 45-year-old actor. In an interview with Los Angeles Times, she sent across her point, "There's so many relationships in Hollywood - and in the history of the world - where people have large age gaps. I just think anyone should be able to date who they want to date."
