AceShowbiz - Chrissy Teigen's parents will be declared officially single again just four days after what would have been their 37th wedding anniversary.

Ron Teigen filed for divorce from Chrissy's mother, Vilailuck 'Pepper' Teigen, in November (2019), with court papers revealing they had quietly separated on January 1, 2017.

Now People.com reports the split will become legal on May 14, 2020.

The pair wed on May 10, 1983, and are parents to the model-turned-TV personality and her sister, Tina.

Chrissy has yet to publicly comment on the divorce, but John Legend's wife previously admitted her parents had been living apart for some time.

"Mum is over so much that she lives with us basically and they've had this kind of relationship for a long time," she shared in 2018. "And my dad comes to the house every other day or so, he was just over yesterday."

And, during a Vanity Fair interview shortly before the news hit headlines, she joked about the end of her mum and dad's marriage, quipping to journalist Karen Valby, "Two Christmases!".
