The Kylie Cosmetics founder pledges $1 million to various wildfire relief efforts after Kim and Khloe Kardashian were accused of not donating to help combat the devastating wildfires.

AceShowbiz - Kylie Jenner has finally followed other celebrities' footsteps in supporting Australian bushfire relief efforts. A few days after she was accused of being ignorant about the devastating wildfires, the Kylie Cosmetic founder seemingly tried to right her wrong by making a $1 million donation to several relief organizations.

The younger sister of Kendall Jenner angered many of her social media followers with her concurrence posts over the weekend. Just after she shared a picture of a burned Koala and raised awareness about the death toll of the animals, she put out on Instagram Story a photo of her "baby pink toes" in a $1,480 mink fur slippers by Louis Vuitton.

One critic turned to Twitter and ranted, "Kylie Jenner posting about saving the koalas and then posting her real mink fur slippers.....make it make sense!?!" Another, meanwhile, pointed out, "Kylie posting about how she is feeling heartbroken about the death of animals in Australia due to fire and then posting her wearing a slipper made of minks fur is the biggest hypocrisy of 2020…"

Another internet user trolled the TV personality.

In her defense, an inside source insisted that the 22-year-old reality star did not mean to spark controversy with her social media shares. "That post was completely unintentional," the insider clarified. "Kylie stands behind her desire to want to help provide relief towards the devastation the fires have caused."

Kylie was not the only member of the Kardashian-Jenner clan that received heavy criticisms when it came to the devastating bushfires. Her half-sisters, Kim Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian, had also been accused of not being charitable as Australia battles its fire season that has seared an estimated seven million hectares of land.

Left fuming by the accusation, Kim was quick to fire back, "Nothing gets me more heated than to see people think they know what we donated to and to think we have to publicize everything." Khloe soon chimed in by writing, "When you do your merciful deeds, do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, so that they may have glory from men. Truly I say to you, They have their reward."

Prior to Kylie's $1 million pledge, a number of celebrities have shown their support to the bushfire relief efforts. Nicole Kidman and her singer husband Keith Urban have donated $500,000 to the Rural Fire Services. Pink contributed similar amount to the local fire services, while Chris Hemsworth pledged $1 million.
