AceShowbiz - Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake's marriage went shaky recently after photos of Justin getting intimate with his "Palmer" co-star Alisha Wainwright. The scandal unsurprisingly affected Jessica and according to a new report, the actress was the one pushing Justin to post a public apology.

"Jessica encouraged Justin to put out his statement on Instagram because she felt embarrassed by his actions and wanted him to take accountability," a source tells Us Weekly about "The Sinner" star.

However, despite the cheating scandal, the insider assures that the couple, who shares son Silas together, "still united."

This arrives after reported that the 38-year-old was said to be standing by her husband following the cheating speculations. "He's charming and outgoing. And obviously he drank too much this time," a source shared about the night out when the "Suit and Tie" hitmaker was seen holding hands with Alisha during an outing with friends at a bar in New Orleans. "Jessica believes he didn't cheat on her. She will stand by him."

Another insider added that both Jessica and Justin would "work through this." The source continued, "It was good that he apologized publicly but obviously the real work he is doing is in private and hopefully this was just a bad drunken night of this type of behavior."

Justin sparked infidelity rumors after he was pictured holding hands with Alisha at the Old Absinthe House bar on Bourbon Street. He then wrote a lenghty message on Instagram on December 4. "I stay away from gossip as much as I can, but for my family, I feel it is important to address recent rumors that are hurting the people I love," he opened his statement.

The former NSYNC member also assured that "nothing happened between me and my costar." He continued writing, "I apologize to may amazing wife and family for putting them through such an embarrassing situation, and I am focused on being the best husband and father I can be."
