Denying that she dissed the 'Juice' rhymer, the 'Whipped Cream' singer tweets seemingly in response to the rapper's revealing clothes at the basketball game, 'This has been the year of beautiful women in all shapes in thongs.'

AceShowbiz - Ari Lennox is here for women's empowerment. The singer/songwriter has come to Lizzo's defense after the rapper went viral for her revealing dress at the Los Angeles Lakers vs. Minnesota Timberwolves game on Sunday night, December 8.

The "Juice" hitmaker bared her butt in a black T-shirt with a giant cut-out on the backside, showing her black thongs, while watching the game from the courtside. She also wore a pair of fishnet tights and matching black shoes.

When the Laker Girls performed to her hit song, the raptress joined in on the fun and twerked along to the track. Footage of the moment captured the audience clapping and cheering for Lizzo as she showed some raunchy moves.

Later during an interview with Fox Sports, Lizzo was shooting her shot at Minnesota Timberwolves' player Karl-Anthony Towns. "Both teams are great. I'm personally cheering for No. 32," she said with a laugh, referring to Karl-Anthony's jersey number. "That's my baby!" She then hilariously remixed her song "Truth Hurts" by singing, "New man on the Minnesota Timberwolves!"

While the audiences were cheering for Lizzo at the game, not all were impressed by her choice of outfit. After photos and videos of the femcee at the event went viral, some people wrote things like "Nobody wanna see that !!!" "man stop" and "Wtf is this" on social media.

Taking to her Twitter account, Ari seemingly defended Lizzo when she posted, "This is the most contradicting and ignorant s**t I've ever seen in a long time! This has been the year of beautiful women in all shapes in thongs and now there's problem..."

When some people sounded off their disagreement, reasoning that Lizzo's revealing outfit was inappropriate because of the occasion she was wearing it, Ari clapped back, "Not here for the insensitivity to social anxiety. Not here for y'alls ignorance on thickness. Not here for y'all literally doing everything in your power to tear down black women."

She added, "I'm tired of black women being tried. How many ways can you tell us that you don't want us to be comfortable in our skin?" The 28-year-old singer/songwriter wrote in another post, "Tearing a woman down to build up another is not true praise. I don't want praise if it's not positive and genuine. Stop using me to pursue your body-shaming and self-hating agenda!"

She also spoke up against criticism of her own body features. "How many times will y'all come for my black nose? It will never tf go anywhere. Y'all are disgusting and the reason people self medicate and get surgery. Just f***ing stop," she tweeted, before concluding with, "stop being mean. stop trying to silence black women."

In another tweet, Ari clarified that her previous tweets about not winning any Soul Train Awards this year were not directed toward Lizzo, who won two. She wrote, "I know this is late but I'm tired!!! Stop using my name and my previous rant to bash and body shame Lizzo. For the last time my previous rant was no diss to her. I'm not here for that ignorant s*** and want no inclusion!!!"
