The 'Lose You to Love Me' singer shows off a praying hands tattoo in one of Polaroid photos shared on her Instagram page, on the same day she performs at the 2019 American Music Awards.

AceShowbiz - Selena Gomez has got more to show after her red carpet arrival and performance at the 2019 American Music Awards. The 27-year-old singer/actress took to her Instagram page on Sunday, November 24, to debut the first look at her new thigh tattoo.

Posted along with several other Polaroid photos, the tattoo pic reveals a pair of hands clasped in prayer with a rosary hanging down from them. The "Wizards of Waverly Place" alum lifted her skirt to show the ink.

The photos were apparently taken behind the scenes of the AMAs, possibly during her preparation for the awards event, as she captioned them, "AMAs day.. more to come.." The "Wolves" songstress rocked a disco ball dress in two of the images.

Popular celebrity tattoo artist Bang Bang commented on the post, "Looks great!" He's the one who inked the new tattoo on Selena's tattoo as he also shared Polaroid photos of the process and wrote below the pictures, "@selenagomez Thank you for the trust."

Meanwhile, Selena's BFF Theresa Mingus expressed her excitement as she wrote in the comment section of Selena's post, "Omg you got the tat!!!!!!"

It is believed to be her 14th tattoo after she got matching tattoos with her best friends for her friend Courtney Barry's 26th birthday. She also got matching tattoos of an arrow with her "Lose You to Love Me" collaborator Julia Michaels.

Selena's praying hands tattoo was not seen at the AMAs as she wore a neon green Versace mini dress, which hemline was long enough to cover the new ink, on the red carpet. She later traded her lime green dress with a black figure-hugging gown for her performance of "Lose You to Love Me" and ripped it off to reveal a a silver bodysuit underneath as she sang "Look at Her Now".

Selena's AMAs gig marks her first live television performance in two years.
