AceShowbiz - While his "Mad Men" character Don Draper enjoys cigarette a lot, Jon Hamm had a strong attachment to alcohol in real life. It was exposed in 2015 when his rep confirmed that the Emmy Award-winning actor just completed inpatient treatment for alcoholism. After the rehab stint, he ended his relationship with his longtime partner Jennifer Westfeldt, with rumors saying that his drinking behavior factored in their separation.
In 2016, he opened up about his rehab for alcoholism, saying, "It works. It's great." Despite crediting the 30-day treatment for helping pull himself "out of the grind for a period of time" and concentrate on "recalibrating the system," he seemingly couldn't completely cut his ties with booze. In 2016, he was caught drinking gin and tonics at a bar, allegedly because he couldn't handle the stress of his career. He was also pictured drinking a beer while out with friends at Franklin & Company in Los Angeles in 2017.
