Kevin Feige Reveals Which New Superheroes Will Appear in MCU Phase 4

Confirming that these three heroes will appear on the big screen after their Disney+ debuts, the Marvel Studios head says fans need to watch the new TV shows to keep up with future movies.

AceShowbiz - Marvel Cinematic Universe is not experiencing any shortage in superheroes though some of the original Avengers have retired in "Avengers: Endgame". Already planning The Eternals and Shang-Chi's debuts in their own movies, the franchise will also introduce three new superheroes on the big screen following their small-screen debuts.

Spilling the beans is none other than Marvel chief creative officer Kevin Feige. In a wide-ranging conversation with The Hollywood Reporter, the producer reveals that Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk and Moon Knight will all appear in future Marvel movies.

The three superheroes will have their own TV shows on Disney+. With that in mind, Feige stresses the need for fans to watch the new TV shows or at least keep up with these series or they won't fully understand upcoming MCU movies.

During the interview, Feige also responds to Martin Scorsese's diss at Marvel's movies. The veteran filmmaker said back in October, "It isn't the cinema of human beings trying to convey emotional, psychological experiences to another human being."

Disagreeing with "The Irishman" director, Feige says, "I think that's not true. I think it's unfortunate." He adds, "I think myself and everyone who works on these movies loves cinema, loves movies, loves going to the movies, loves to watch a communal experience in a movie theater full of people."

Explaining why he doesn't like Marvel's movies, Scorsese pointed out what's lacking about the blockbuster films, "What's not there is revelation, mystery or genuine emotional danger." He continued writing in his Times piece, "Nothing is at risk. The pictures are made to satisfy a specific set of demands, and they are designed as variations on a finite number of themes."

But Feige insists that Marvel Studios has challenged itself by making different types of films, such as a heist film (2015's "Ant-Man") and a political thriller (2014's "Captain America: The Winter Soldier"). "We did 'Civil War'. We had our two most popular characters get into a very serious theological and physical altercation," he adds. "We killed half of our characters at the end of a movie ['Avengers: Infinity War']. I think it's fun for us to take our success and use it to take risks and go in different places."
