Sony Pictures' president of Domestic Distribution, Adrian Smith, expresses delight in treating moviegoers with 'another opportunity to see the Quentin Tarantino film as it's meant to be seen.'

AceShowbiz - Quentin Tarantino's acclaimed summer hit "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" is to be re-released with four new scenes.

The director cut the scenes for the original release, but now they're back in ahead of the re-release in 1,000 theatres across North America on Friday, October 25.

"Audiences have shown tremendous support for this movie, and we look forward to offering them another opportunity to see the film as it's meant to be seen - in theatres on the big screen - with more sights and sounds of the sixties from Quentin Tarantino as an added treat," Adrian Smith, the president of Domestic Distribution for Sony Pictures, tells Deadline.

It is not known if the new footage will feature Tim Roth, who was among the stars cut from the movie.

Roth, who previously starred in three Tarantino movies, gets a credit in the film, with the word 'Cut' in brackets after his name.
