More than three decades after Barry Crane was found bludgeoned to death at his Los Angeles home, Edwin Jerry Hiatt was taken into custody in North Carolina and charged with the crime.

AceShowbiz - Lou Ferrigno has expressed his relief that a suspect has finally been apprehended for the alleged murder of "The Incredible Hulk" director Barry Crane.
Crane was found bludgeoned to death at his Los Angeles home in July 1985, but his killer has remained a mystery for more than three decades.
Edwin Jerry Hiatt was arrested in North Carolina in May and was charged with murder in California on Tuesday, October 8. Detectives claim new evidence links him to the crime, but he has pleaded not guilty.
"The Incredible Hulk" star Ferrigno tells The Blast he is very happy his colleague and friend's murder may finally be solved, saying: "Glad they caught him! Barry was a fine director and directed many wonderful episodes on Hulk and Bionic man. He will be missed. Glad I had him to bring the best out of me".
Crane's death remained a mysterious cold case until last year, when police officials claim they found Hiatt's partial fingerprint in the victim's car, which was stolen during the murder.
