The 'Gummo' rapper believes that people will soon forget him testifying against his former gang members and he will be more famous than ever once he returns to music.

AceShowbiz - Tekashi69 a.k.a. 6ix9ine is apparently so confident that he will survive just well after he's released from prison. Not only reportedly turning down an offer to enter the witness protection program, but also the rapper is said to believe that he will be more popular than ever once he gets back to music after snitching.

Sources tell TMZ that the New York City native is not worried about those who hate him for snitching. He allegedly believes that him testifying against his former gang members will soon be forgotten after he's freed from jail.

The "FEFE" hitmaker additionally thinks that fellow rappers and the industry execs who have spoken ill about him are just jealous and feeling threatened by him because he will be more famous than them when he starts making hits again.

6ix9ine was arrested on racketeering charges in November 2018. He pled guilty to nine charges and faced a minimum of 47 years in prison, but he cut a deal in return for his full cooperation. He has been testifying in court against Nine Trey Blood Gang members Anthony "Harv" Ellison and Aljermiah "Nuke" Mack. He has also outed Jim Jones and Cardi B as alleged gang members.

50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, The Game and Rap-A-Lot Records honcho J. Prince have spoken against 6ix9ine for snitching. However, Irv Gotti is optimistic about the 23-year-old star's future in the rap game.

"What I feel is, the new generation though...I think he can put out a new record and the new generation will fuck with it," he said in a recent interview. "They are not like me or the older generation who really have strong beliefs on snitching. You hear it now. You read the comments. A lot of people like, 'I'd have snitched too if they was gonna hurt me.' I think it's a new world and different from when I came up, my generation. If we was talking out my generation, he would have no chance at a career."
