AceShowbiz - Nothing can stop Demi Lovato anymore, not even her cellulite. The Disney alum has been receiving a lot of praises ever since she shared on Instagram on Thursday, September 5 an unedited picture of herself rocking a bikini.
In the photo, which has since gone viral on social media and garnered more than 3 million likes, Demi looked back at the camera as she showed off her derriere in a leopard print bikini. Her cellulite was full on display in the image, but that no longer made the singer ashamed as she shared a message about body positivity in the caption of the post.
Dubbing her cellulite her "biggest fear," Demi admitted she used to edit her bikini photos to make her look good, but she eventually got "sooo tired" of that. "I want this new chapter in my life to be about being authentic to who I am rather than trying to meet someone else's standards. So here's me, unashamed, unafraid and proud to own a body that has fought through so much and will continue to amaze me when I hopefully give birth one day," she said.
Demi went on expressing how happy she is now that she doesn't have to stress about putting herself through a strenuous workout or depriving herself of certain foods. The "Sorry Not Sorry" singer then encouraged her followers to do the same, "You should love you too!" before teasing her new music that might be talking about body positivity.
"Just so everyone's clear.. I'm not stoked on my appearance BUT I am appreciative of it and sometimes that's the best I can do. I hope to inspire someone to appreciate their body today too," she concluded.
