AceShowbiz - Warner Bros. Pictures has unveiled the final trailer for "Joker" before releasing the movie this fall. Giving a new look at the gritty and dark take on the iconic Batman villain, the video shows more of Arthur Fleck's (Joaquin Phoenix) rough life that explains his built-up anger.

Dealing with his struggling career as a comedian and his mental health issue, Arthur feels like no one has ever noticed his existence. "For my whole life, I didn't know if I even really existed," he says in voiceover, "But I do. And people are starting to notice."

Arthur is then seen laughing uncontrollably in front of Bruce Wayne's father Thomas (Brett Cullen), who is pissed off by Arthur's laughter and slaps him in the face. There's also a scene showing Arthur joining a protest and he's seen making out with Sophie Dumond (Zazie Beetz) in another scene.

Near the end of the video, Arthur in his clown makeup and red suit asks Murray Franklin (Robert De Niro) to introduce him as Joker to the audience. The final shot has Arthur onstage as the curtain opens and someone aptly sings, "Send in the clown."

According to official description of the movie, "Joker" centers around the iconic arch nemesis and is an original, standalone fictional story not seen before on the big screen. Director Todd Phillips's exploration of Arthur Fleck, who is indelibly portrayed by Joaquin Phoenix, is of a man struggling to find his way in Gotham's fractured society. A clown-for-hire by day, he aspires to be a stand-up comic at night...but finds the joke always seems to be on him. Caught in a cyclical existence between apathy and cruelty, Arthur makes one bad decision that brings about a chain reaction of escalating events in this gritty character study.

Frances Conroy, Marc Maron, Bill Camp, Glenn Fleshler, Shea Whigham, Douglas Hodge and Josh Pais also star in the movie, which is written by Phillips along with Scott Silver. The crime drama film is set to arrive in the U.S. on October 4.
