The Academy Award-winning actress, who will reprise her role as Jane Foster in 'Thor: Love and Thunder', reminds the Captain Marvel depicter about the rightful ownership of Mjolnir.

AceShowbiz - Natalie Portman isn't giving up her worthy possession of a movie prop that easily. The "Black Swan" actress has reminded Brie Larson of the rightful ownership of Mjolnir after the "Captain Marvel" star bragged about lifting Thor's hammer.

The "Room" actress recently posted a picture of her posing with Thor's hammer in a room decorated with Marvel-themed memorabilia. Claiming that she's worthy to lift the dwarf-forged, enchanted war hammer, she wrote in the caption, "Not to be whatever, but....told you I could lift it."

Not letting Larson get ahead of herself, Portman perfectly responded in the comment section, "Hey muscles, easy with my hammer!!! [heart emojis]" The 38-year-old actress has been confirmed to be the first female Thor in upcoming movie "Thor: Love and Thunder", so she has the rights to claim her ownership of the hammer.

"Thor: Ragnarok" helmer Taika Waititi, who will return as director for the fourth Thor movie, gushed at the San Diego Comic-Con back in July, "The story line is incredible, is full emotion, love and thunder and introduces for the first time, female Thor."

Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson will also be reprising their roles as Thor and Valkyrie, respectively. Thompson teased fans by hinting her character will be Marvel Studios' first LGBTQ hero. She hinted that Valkyrie will be bisexual or lesbian in the new film, as she is in the comic books. "As new king (of Asgard), she needs to find her queen," she said. "That will be the first order of business."

"Thor: Love and Thunder" is scheduled for a November 5, 2021 release in the United States. No production start date is confirmed so far.

Meanwhile, Waititi's recent meeting with Ryan Gosling has sparked a speculation that the actor would join the cast of "Thor 4". The two had a lunch together in Los Angeles on August 16, the same day the director was celebrating his 44th birthday.

Some people, however, thought that Gosling and Waititi might be talking about another project during their meeting. "Don't worry, Taika has another film scheduled to come out before Thor. It's most likely for that," one reacted to their meeting. Another speculated about a film that they might be discussing besides "Thor 4", "Akira???????? Maybe. Gosling is definitely a favorite of mine."

Waititi has been long-attached to a live-action adaptation of "Akira", but the project has been put on hold indefinitely as the helmer will reportedly work on "Thor 4" first.
