AceShowbiz - Gabrielle Union's daughter Kaavia is growing up so fast! It feels like it's only been yesterday that fans watched the adorable baby crawl on her own, and now she's already talking. The judge of "America's Got Talent" understandably didn't forget to capture the moment and shared it on her Instagram account on Tuesday, August 20.
In the video that she posted on the photo-sharing platform, Kaavia could be seen sitting on a baby chair as her actress mother told her to say "bye bye." The little girl did it perfectly, even responding to Gabrielle with an adorable, "Yeah," when she called her name. "[Kaavia James] speaks!!!! Get ready world. Next stop. #agt judges table! Bye bye," the "L.A.'s Finest" star wrote in the caption.
Many of her followers, as well as her celebrity friends, were attracted by Kaavia's cuteness. La La Anthony excitedly said, "My girl is talking !!!!!!" while "ER" alum Lisa Vidal commented, "Oh my goodness!!!" On the other hand, "Love & Hip Hop: New York" star Juju and composer Chloe Flower simply left several heart-eyes emojis.
Gabrielle welcomed Kaavia, her daughter with husband Dwyane Wade, on November 7, 2018 via surrogate. She has since been updating her fans on the little one's growth on social media, including the time when Kaavia first learned how to swim. In one Instagram video, Kaavia was seen blowing bubbles, kicking and holding her breath under water. "Cant walk, but I can jump. Who knew? This swimming thing is my jelly and my jam," Gabrielle wrote in the caption.
Most recently, the 46-year-old opened up about her decision to go back to work nine months after having Kaavia. "Being able to have the job that I love and the baby that I dreamed of [is great]. I'm a better mom because I'm able to go away and do what I love. Even if I failed miserably, I'm following my dreams," she said. "I would be less of a mother if I didn't set out every day to try to make my dreams come true and other people's dreams come true. So I don't have guilt."
