Further sparking speculations of the alleged impending cancellation, Wendy appeared to hint during season 10 finale, which aired on August 1, that things were uncertain when it came to her show's future.

AceShowbiz - Fans of "The Wendy Williams Show" may have to prepare for bad news. A new report suggests that the fan-favorite daytime talk show will "very likely" end following its upcoming season 11.

"This was an extremely difficult season to get through for the staff and Wendy herself, obviously," a source claims to lovebscott.com, noting that it has something to do with the host's health and personal struggles. "With the show's renewal set to end after the 2019-2020 season, everyone thinks it's the perfect time to say goodbye move on."

The insider goes on saying, "Wendy has enough going on as it is and honestly no one, including Wendy, is sure she can even make it through season 11. Not to mention, advertisers consider her to be a 'risk' due to her unplanned hiatuses and extended breaks. It's very likely the show won't be back."

The site further reports that it seems like Debmar-Mercury is trying to make the final season of Wendy's show as the lead-in for "The Jerry O'Connell Show". Jerry was among frequent guests on "The Wendy Williams Show", and sometimes he was also tapped to guest host the show. His own show, meanwhile, is set to be airing its first run on FOX this summer -- during Wendy's break.

During season 10 finale which aired on August 1, Wendy appeared to hint that things were uncertain when it came to her show's future. "I appreciate doing this show because it's my one hour where I get to be fun and forget about stuff. You see me pass out the season, you’ve read in tabloids and the paparazzi and all that. But through it all, my one joy -- aside from my son and my family -- is you," she told her audience while crying. "I'm not doing this show forever, but I will certainly be back for season 11. A lot of people didn't think we could do it but we did it!"

However, the site notes that even if the forthcoming season 11 of "The Wendy Williams Show" will be its last, it would not be an entirely bad thing for Wendy. The author and TV personality is attached as the executive producer on "The Jerry O'Connell Show".

Season 11 of "The Wendy Williams" will premiere on September 16.
