AceShowbiz - Louis Tomlinson was arrested after being involved in a heated fight at the LAX Airport in 2017, when two female fans were reportedly involved in a dispute with his then-girlfriend Eleanor Calder. As the quarrel devolved into a physical fight, Louis tried to protect Eleanor which resulted in him accidentally dragging a photographer to the floor. As a result, he was arrested and charged with misdemeanor, but was released after posting $20,000 bail.
Many people, especially his fans, were angered by the arrest. "Tell me why Louis got arrested for defending himself but the paparazzi that invaded his privacy and harassed him didn't?" one said. Steve Aoki also came to his defense as saying, "U can still do your job without having to put your camera literally in someone's face."
