Asked whether he would not perform in Sweden to show his support for fellow rapper A$AP Rocky, the Migos member says cops in the country 'were trying to lock us up too' when he was on the soil.

AceShowbiz - Quavo has had enough reason to be afraid of Swedish officials, even before A$AP Rocky got arrested in the country. The Migos star just revealed he and his entourage were once targeted by cops too when he was on the European soil.

Met by TMZ when leaving Bootsy Bellows in WeHo on early Wednesday, July 17, the 28-year-old star was asked if he would ban any shows in Sweden in support of his fellow rapper A$AP Rocky. While he's not sure if he would cancel his shows in the country, he voiced his support for the Harlem-born rapper, who is currently in detainment in Stockholm.

"Sweden had us down on the curb," Quavo told the paparazzi about a similar treatment that received in the country. "Soon as we went to Sweden, they had me and my cameraman down on the curb and they were trying to lock us up too. They ended up letting us go and it is what it is but Sweden is real tough. I don't know if I'd [cancel shows] but free my boy Rocky."

A$AP Rocky has been arrested since Tuesday, July 2 after he got involved in a street brawl with two strangers on Saturday, June 3. A video showed the "F***in' Problems" hitmaker and his entourage kicking and tossing one of the men to the ground. The rapper's lawyer has maintained that "Rocky, his bodyguard and two performers from his show acted in self-defense after two men followed, harassed and physically assaulted them in Stockholm."

The A$AP Mob member will remain at Kronoberg until at least July 19 when the prosecutor "must decide whether to file a prosecution or ask the court for a longer detention period in order to finalize the investigation," according to the Swedish Prosecution Authority.

There were reports that A$AP Rocky was being held in inhumane conditions, but his lawyer Henrik Olson Lilja has set things straight, saying that the hip-hop is in a common detention center and that he has no restrictions, meaning that he can "meet whomever he wants," and that there is a waiting period to do so.

Fellow hip-hop artists, celebrities and many others have expressed their support for the rapper, demanding his freedom.
