AceShowbiz - More details about Amber Portwood's drama with boyfriend Andrew Glennon are here. A new report suggests that the "Teen Mom OG" star attempted to commit suicide before she assaulted her boyfriend on Friday, July 5 which resulted in her arrest.

According to Radar Online, the MTV star threatened suicide before the incident. Additionally, she allegedly swallowed a "handful of pills." A court document revealed that during their argument, "Ms. Portwood went to her drawer and took a handful of Klonopin and tossed it back like it was nothing." She, however, "regurgitated the pills" when Andrew said he was going to call for help.

It is also revealed that the 29-year-old attacked Andrew with a machete. According to court documents, which was obtained by TMZ, Amber wielded the machete when their heated argument got escalated big time. She later reportedly struck a door with Glennon on the other side.

While she didn't hurt Andrew with the weapon, Amber allegedly found another way to inflict injury. She reportedly struck him with a shoe while he was holding their one-year-old son James. "Mr. Glennon stated he was holding [James] and he turned to the side to avoid him getting struck with the shoe," read the affidavit. It was said that Amber told Andrew to put James down, but he refused because James was "crying and upset." It was when she threatened to kill herself with the pills.

The court paper further stated that after threatening to kill herself, she picked the machete towards him and their son. Feeling like he was in danger, Andrew locked himself and James in the room. When "she hit the door with the machete and kicked the door and broke the handle," that was when he made the call to 911.

The TV star allegedly denied taking the pills and wielding machete to Andrew. However, she admitted to attacking him with a shoe. "It was in the shoulder, and I barely hit him," she allegedly told the authorities.

Recent report stated that Amber was served with a no contact order in court on Wednesday, July 10. In a video obtained by TMZ, Amber arrived at the building alongside her mother Tonya as well as her ex-fiance Gary Shirley and his wife Kristina.

This arrives after Andrew reportedly filed paperwork on Tuesday in attempt to gain sole custody of their one-year-old son James, just four days after Amber's arrest. It was said that he filed a petition for an emergency hearing regarding the paternity and custody of their child.

Amber was charged with domestic battery, criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon and domestic battery in the presence of a child following the arrest. This reflected on Indiana's Marion County Jail online records, which list two new domestic battery charges and one criminal recklessness charge under her name. She is set to attend a hearing next week.
