AceShowbiz - First wedding pictures of Katharine McPhee and David Foster have surfaced online. The couple tied the knot at St. Yeghiche Armenian Apostolic Church in South Kensington, London on Friday, June 28, one year after getting engaged in June of last year.
In the photos obtained by Daily Mail, the bride looked stunning in a strapless ruffled gown that oozed a princess-y vibe as she arrived at the church. The 35-year-old actress wore a custom Zac Posen gown which boasted a fitted bodice and voluminous skirt.
Instead of wearing a floral lace veil, she sported a veil that matched the sheer layer of her gown. The "Smash" alum pulled her brunette tresses into a sleek low bun and finished her look with silver heels.
David, meanwhile, was spotted wearing a sleek black tuxedo with a matching bow tie and a white shirt. He couldn't hide his smile while running into paparazzi before the wedding, as he tried to keep looking cool with his sunglasses.
The pair reportedly celebrated the wedding with around 80 guests, including David's daughter Erin from his marriage to second wife Rebecca McCurdy. Swiss tennis player Roger Federer, who came with his wife Mirka, German former tennis star Tommy Haas as well as TV personality Dr. Phil McGraw were among famous faces spotted at the event.
Hours before the nuptials, Katharine shared a throwback video that saw her performing in 2006. "Exactly 13 years ago today my very first single, Somewhere Over The Rainbow, was released right after Idol," she wrote in the caption. The "American Idol" alum added, "Today... I'm marrying the man who produced it. Life is full of beautiful coincidences, isn't it? Thank you for taking me over the rainbow, David."
Katharine and David first sparked dating rumors in early 2017, but it's not until 2018 that they confirmed their relationship when they made their red carpet debut as a couple at the Met Gala. It's the second marriage for the former "Scorpion" star, who was divorced from Nick Cokas in 2016, and the fifth for David. The 69-year-old music producer was previously married to Linda Thompson, Rebecca McCurdy, B.J. Cook, and model Yolanda Hadid, whom he divorced in October 2017.
