AceShowbiz - A woman alleging she was injured when Suge Knight was shot at a Chris Brown nightclub event has dropped her lawsuit against the venue's owners.
The Death Row Records founder was shot seven times at a pre-party hosted by Brown, and attended by Justin Bieber, at Los Angeles' 1 OAK nightclub ahead of the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards.
A woman who named Amanda Miller sued 1 OAK's owners claiming she was one of those hurt in the shooting, but according to U.S. website The Blast she has now filed documents dismissing her claims against the club. She is dismissing her case with prejudice, bringing a definitive end to her case.
In the lawsuit, Miller accused 1 OAK chiefs of not taking adequate security measures, as she alleged Brown "was and is known to associate with known criminals and/or gang members, and events where he has entertained in the past have been attended by known gang members and marked by violence and gang activity."
Knight made a full recovery from his injuries, but is currently serving a 28 year jail term following his conviction for manslaughter relating to a fatal hit-and-run incident in the car park of a Compton, Los Angeles, restaurant in 2015.
Record label owner Terry Carter was killed and the rapper and activist Cle 'Bone' Sloan injured when the hip-hop mogul hit them with his truck following an argument on the set of a commercial shoot for the N.W.A. biopic "Straight Outta Compton".
