AceShowbiz - Amid speculations that NeNe Leakes won't return for season 12 of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta", the TV star has set the record straight. During her appearance on the Majic Radio Show this week, NeNe confirmed that she would be back for the upcoming season.
"I have never been suspended," the 51-year-old reality TV star told Vig Jagger. "And I am on season 12. Thank you very much."
NeNe also addressed rumors about her preparing for a spin-off, which reportedly would focus on NeNe and her SWAGG Boutique staff. She revealed she didn't have a spin-off in the works, at least not that she know of.
"If I've gotten a spinoff, they haven't told me yet, and I need them to call me...If I had a spin-off, I'd be happily telling you."
Previous report claimed that the rumored spin-off would follow NeNe as "she manages her Swagg sales associates in the SWAGG Boutique." It would also feature the life of its very eccentric crew which includes them working and partying together. Obviously, it would also offer an insight into them dealing with real life drama.
Rumors of NeNe getting suspended started after NeNe physically attacked a cameraman who tried to follow Kandi Burruss and Porsha Williams as they went into her closet.
"How are you going to overreact in your own home? If I tell you to visit me and sit right here, you need to sit right here. You don't have the right to go through my house to open my doors, my closets, my pantries, none of that," NeNe defended her action when she appeared on "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen" right after the episode aired.
