Jessa and Ben welcomed Jane Seewald on May 26 before announcing it on May 28 as the 'Counting On' star gushed at the time, 'We're so grateful to God for this precious gift.'

AceShowbiz - Jessa Duggar's third pregnancy was a whole lot different and more than before. In an online special for "Counting On" titled "A Baby Girl for Jessa", it could be seen that the TV star's water broke at the least expected time--when she was drinking a smoothie in the kitchen.

Jessa and husband Ben Seewald planned to have the baby at a birthing suite in the hospital with her midwife, but they were forced to forego the plan when her water broke two weeks before her due date. The pair later made an emergency backup plan which was having the baby at home with another midwife.

It was such a hard time for Jessa but she eventually managed to go into labor at her home. And after just three hours, the TV star started delivering the baby on her couch. Despite the dramatic delivery, both the mom and baby were safe as she instantly cried when was finally able to hold her little girl, Ivy Jane Seewald.

"Waiting through a pregnancy to meet your baby seems like it takes forever," Jessa shared. "So those first few moments, right after the baby is born are the absolute sweetest moment of your life. Looking at that sweet baby, I always cry."

If you think that was the end of the craziness of her delivery, you're wrong. She didn't stop bleeding after giving birth, so they decided to get her to the hospital. She was quickly given Pitocin upon her arrival. Thankfully, it wasn't that bad so she didn't need a blood transfusion.

Jessa and Ben welcomed Ivy on May 26 before announcing it on May 28. "We're so grateful to God for this precious gift," she said at the time. "She is already so loved. Her big brothers adore her!"
