The Body by Mac owner is accused of abandoning her Harlequin Great Dane as she goes on vacation, with her neighbors claiming that the dog has been crying for 4 days and whimpering outside.

AceShowbiz - Another "Teen Mom" star has been involved in a dog-related controversy. Mackenzie McKee, who used to star on "Teen Mom 3", recently had her Harlequin Great Dane removed from her home by animal control after her neighbors called the service to report that the star left her pet, Hank, alone in the backyard while she went on a cruise in the Bahamas.

Mackenzie was quick to address the report in a series of tweets, confirming that her dog was indeed removed from her home, but it was because of threat of tornadoes. She also accused her neighbors of lying and began slamming them. "If you guys think that my neighbors were telling the truth, you are out of your mind," she said. "They had had it out for us since we moved in in October and moving is in the near future."

The star went on explaining that she got her dog a big pen because "he hates kennels and I think he needed more sleeping room," insisting that the dog wasn't neglected during her vacation. "He was fed, watered and played with daily and stepped in his pen at night and I even had a tarp rushed to him Since on day 2 of vacation he destroyed his dog house," she said.

Addressing pictures of the dog's poop piling up inside its pen, Mackenzie defended herself by saying that her neighbors took the photo when the dog just did it. "If you own a Dane you know that they poop several times a day and large amounts," she continued. "We were on top of him being loved and cared for."

Concluding her post, the Body by Mac owner stressed, "Me nor my mother or the other two taking care of him support animal abuse. Please know the full truth and story before telling a woman to kill herself and she is piece of s**t. If you follow me on snap, you see that hank is nothing less than loved to an extreme level by us."

Her neighbors previously alleged that the dog had been crying for four days and whimpering outside without any decent cover from rain. "There is no dog house, there is only muddy ground. His food was soaked. We didn't know if anyone would be back," one neighbor said. "Our concern was for the dog. He is an awesome dog if you want help finding him a home I have a friend that can help. There are Great Dane rescues that would love to have him."
