AceShowbiz - The original six "Avengers" actors were honored with a handprint ceremony on Tuesday, April 23. Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth and Jeremy Renner reunited once again at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood for the ceremony, a day after attending the star-studded world premieree of "Avengers: Endgame" in Los Angeles.
Joined by Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige, they left their handprints to be displayed with those of legendary stars like Shirley Temple, Judy Garland, Frank Sinatra and many others. They were goofing around with each other, with Ruffalo doing a handstand while making his mark on the wet cement.
Downey Jr. stayed true to his flamboyant style in a beige suit with a bright red shirt underneath. ScarJo kept it simple and casual in a tawny jumpsuit with white polka dots. Evans opted for a laid-back style in a cable-knit sweater and light jeans, teamed with a blue baseball cap.
Hemsworth looked as sharp as always in a pale plaid suit teamed with red-tinted shades. As for Ruffalo and Renner, they went for classic black suits. Feige, meanwhile, opted for a comfortable outfit in a black jacket and matching pants.
"Avengers: Endgame", which could be the last Marvel movie for some of these actors, will be released on April 26. Directors Anthony and Joe Russo recently revealed in an interview with Rotten Tomatoes that Downey Jr. was "probably the only one" in the cast trusted enough "to actually read the entire script."
Benedict Cumberbatch was given a script with just his scenes in it, while Tom Holland wasn't even given his own copy of the script and only read his lines. Meanwhile, Ruffalo was given a fake script which included some fake scenes. "I got a script, but it was a dummy. There were scenes in there that I thought we were shooting that nobody ever shot," the Hulk depicter told Entertainment Tonight at the movie's world premiere.
Ahead of the film's release, the stars including Brie Larson, Danai Gurira, Karen Gillan, Don Cheadle and Paul Rudd sang a Marvel-themed version of Billy Joel's "We Didn't Start the Fire" for "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon", which culminated in a touching tribute to Stan Lee.
