Five months after Ariana got the most-viewed music video in 24 hours title with 'Thank U, Next', the K-pop girl group steals the title away by scoring 1.3 million clicks more with their latest promo.

AceShowbiz - K-pop girl group BLACKPINK have set a new YouTube record for the most music video hits in a day, stealing the title from Ariana Grande.
Ariana took hold of the title in November (2018) when she dropped the promo for her break-up anthem "Thank U, Next", racking up 55.4 million views in its first 24 hours on the video-streaming site.
However, the Asian pop quartet has since smashed that figure, drawing 56.7 million clicks for its "Kill This Love" clip, which went live on April 4.
It also helped the girls set a new personal record, as they had previously garnered 36.2 million views for 2018's "Ddu-Du Ddu-Du" video.
"Kill This Love" has continued to prove hugely popular with fans, who helped the band claim another YouTube record as its song became the fastest music promo to hit 100 million views, achieving the feat in just three days.
BLACKPINK stars Jisoo, Jennie, Rose, and Lisa are also preparing to make Coachella history this weekend (April 12-14) as they become the first K-pop girl group to ever perform at the California festival.
To mark the occasion, YouTube officials will be airing their set live on the biggest billboard in New York City's Times Square - making it the first-ever broadcast of a festival live stream in the Big Apple tourist hotspot, reports Variety.
