Laughing off the incident that took place at the Academy of Country Music Awards, the 'Since U Been Gone' hitmaker turns to Twitter to call it 'the greatest thing by far that happened' to her.

AceShowbiz - Kelly Clarkson was left tickled at Sunday's (April 07) Academy of Country Music Awards after she was mistaken for a seat filler and asked to move.

The "Since U Been Gone" hitmaker was billed to perform twice at the Las Vegas ceremony, which she attended with her husband Brandon Blackstock, but not everyone working the event was aware of her star status while she was seated in the audience.

"The greatest thing by far that happened to me tonight was being asked to move because some guy thought I was a seat-filler at the ACM's (sic) tonight," she recalled to fans on Twitter after the prizegiving, adding some laughing emojis as she posted, "#CantWinEmAll."

"Literally, it made my night because he was so serious, and I just politely said no," Kelly continued.

The "American Idol" champ initially graced the stage with triple winners Dan + Shay to perform their collaboration "Keeping Score", and returned to the mic later on in the show to duet with Jason Aldean on their 2010 hit "Don't You Wanna Stay".
