Aside from the South Carolina case involving a high school student, the 'Zeze' rapper has also been slapped with a $500,000 lawsuit by an Arizona man for breaking a talent engagement agreement.

AceShowbiz - Rapper Kodak Black has been charged with first degree sexual assault in South Carolina, in an incident involving a high school student.

The 21-year-old star has been ordered to submit a DNA sample as part of an investigation surrounding the allegations that date back to February 2016.

Kodak, whose real name is Dieuson Octave, was arrested in November 2016, but released on $100,000 (£76,000) bond.

The alleged teenage victim did not immediately report the assault to police, but told a nurse at her Richland County high school she had been assaulted.

Source tells local news station WPDE-TV, the nurse then informed the school resource officer before the information was eventually brought to the attention of the Florence County Sheriff's Office.

According to the arrest warrant, the rap star committed sexual battery even though the alleged victim "repeatedly told the defendant no and to stop." Kodak also reportedly bit the girl on the "neck and her right breast" - injuries which were documented in a rape kit.

Judge Michael Nettles has now reportedly signed off on solicitor E.L. Clements III's motion to force the rapper to hand over blood and saliva samples.

"We are slowly but steadily moving toward a disposition," 12th Circuit Solicitor Ed Clements told The State. "I want to do justice for the victim, whatever that takes."

Kodak faces up to 30 years in prison if convicted. A trial date is yet to be set.

Meanwhile, an Arizona man, named Nicholas Fitts, is suing Kodak for $500,000 (£384,000) in damages after he allegedly broke off a talent engagement agreement in 2017.

According to The Blast, he claims Kodak was contracted to perform on March 3, 2017 in New York, but never showed up. The "Tunnel Vision" rapper then agreed to perform a "makeup date" in April of the same year, but failed to show again.

Fitts agreed to give Kodak another shot and scheduled a third show, but that fell flat too.

The promoter claims he suffered "a loss of ticket revenue, directly resulting from Kodak Black's refusal to fulfill his contractual obligations under the terms of the Agreements, totaling more than $500,000, including reimbursement of funds from ticket presales."
