AceShowbiz - The remaining 20 singers of "American Idol" returned to the stage in Monday, April 1 episode of season 17 of the singing competition. They flaunted their singing skills in another round of solo performances, hoping to awe judges Katy Perry, Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan.

First to take the stage was Madison VanDenburg, who sang "Domino" by Jessie J. Once again, she earned praises from the judges who claimed she could be the next Kelly Clarkson. The next performer was Shawn Robinson, singing Nick Jonas' "Jealous" that perfectly showed off his high vocal. Katy, however, suggested him to utilitize his low voice as well.

Laine Hardy, meanwhile, performed "Bring It Home to Me" by Sam Cooke. He drove the crowd wild. The judges also raised their feet for his performance. Uche followed it with a rendition of "Figures" by Jessie Reyez, much to Katy's liking. Eddie Island also impressed the judges after he belted out "Ho Hey" by The Lumineers.

Up next was Evelyn Cormier. She opted to sing "Leaving on a Jet Plane" by John Denver, prompting Katy to praise her unique voice. It was followed with Alyssa Raghu's performance of "Ain't It Fun" by Paramore. She brought so much energy to her stage, though Luke and Katy didn't think it was the best song choice for her.

Singing Lauren Daigle's "You Say" was Ryan Hammond and it was amazing. Raquel Trinidad hoped to impress the judges with a rendition of "Lovefool" by The Cardigans, though it didn't seem to work. Logan Johnson sang "Love Don't Live Here Anymore" with his acoustic guitar. The judges thought the performance was a bit slow.

Meanwhile, Dimitrius Graham made a bold move by opting for Adele's "Hello" for his performance. But it turned out it was an excellent choice of song as the judges praised him for his ability to hit insane notes with confidence. Riley Thompson then hit the stage to sing an upbeat rendition of Dolly Parton's "Jolene". As for Walker Burroughs, he sang "How Deep Is Your Love" and successfully blew the judges' mind away.

Bumbly sang Mariah Carey's "Visions of Love" before Ashley Hess performed "Dreaming With a Broken Heart" by John Mayer while playing piano. Lionel called it a "solid" performance. Alejandro showed off his take on Post Malone's "I Fall Apart", making the judges speechless. The next performer was Kate Barnett, who performed Maroon 5's "Sunday Morning" by adding her own spin on it.

Jeremiah Lloyd Harmon followed it up with a rendition of "Make You Feel My Love" by Bob Dylan. The judges loved it as it was simple yet touching. Next up was Laci Kaye Booth who opted to sing a slow-down version of "I Want You to Want Me". She earned a standing ovation for her unique take on the song.

Rounding out the night was Wade Cota. He took the stage to sing "All I Want" by Kodaline. His performance made the judges jump off their seats in excitement. Next episode will see the Top 20 performing duets with some of the biggest names in the music industry before they will be cut down to 14 singers.
