Launching a lawsuit against the two rappers, G-Money claims that Cole's 2017 'Deja Vu' and Tiller's 2016 'Exchange' have 'substantial similarities' to his 2013 song 'Shawty So Cold'.

AceShowbiz - J. Cole and Bryson Tiller have been dragged into a new legal spat after allegedly stealing music from a producer.

Gary Frisby, aka G-Money, claims his 2013 song "Shawty So Cold" was ripped off for Cole's 2017 track "Deja Vu" and Tiller's "Exchange" from 2016 in legal papers filed on Friday, March 08, and obtained by The Blast.

In his papers, the producer claims his song and their songs have "the same kick pattern, snare pattern, FX swell and vocal strike", adding, "The substantial similarities between the three songs are of no coincidence."

Frisby is suing for $150,000 (£115,000) per infringement.
