Two years prior, the model wife of John Legend confessed to cutting back on her drinking after realizing that she felt horrible for making 'an a**' of herself in front of others.

AceShowbiz - Chrissy Teigen is taking another break from booze after getting drunk at the Oscars on Sunday night, February 24.

The model, celebrity cook, and TV personality previously confessed her love of wine was getting out of hand and she pledged to slow down, but she was spotted enjoying a good drink at the post-Oscars Vanity Fair party - and now she has pledged to take another sober break.

"Oh my god I feel like absolute s**t...," she tweeted on Monday after a heavy night of partying. "I hereby go sober for at least the week. Booze is poison."

Chrissy and her husband John Legend were spotted living it up at the party, and the mum-of-two confessed she was feeling a little worse for wear when the couple got home.

"3:30am just got home, ready to go to bed but I've been selected for a twitter survey. work never stops man (sic)," she wrote.

Back in 2017, Chrissy revealed she had drastically cut back on her drinking after realising she was boozing too much.

She told Cosmopolitan she had stopped drinking wine in the hair and make-up trailers of TV shows and awards events, because it was something she had been doing far too much of.

"I was, point blank, just drinking too much," she confessed. "I got used to being in hair and make-up and having a glass of wine. Then that glass of wine would carry over into me having one before the awards show. And then a bunch at the awards show."

"Then I felt bad for making kind of an a** of myself to people that I really respected. And that feeling, there's just nothing like that. You feel horrible. It's not a good look for me. Nobody really brought it up to me. They just assumed that it was OK because I always felt OK the next morning."

"I knew in my heart it wasn't right. It makes you very short with people. People think it's cutesy and fun to go on these boozy brunches, but there's more to it. I've never once been like, 'I'm sure glad I had that boozy brunch!'"
