AceShowbiz - The #MeToo movement has served up a big win for British actress and TV personality Jameela Jamil - she no longer has to hug executives in meetings.

"The Good Place" star insists the anti-harassment campaign, which sprung up in the wake of the Harvey Weinstein sex abuse scandal in late 2017, has been good for her and she has noticed a change in Hollywood.

"I'm not being cuddled at the end of meetings anymore," she told Yahoo News show "Through Her Eyes", adding she hopes those in Hollywood who test the new empowerment rules laid out by the #MeToo movement suffer.

"I would like to hope that we don't allow racists and bigots to have big parts in Hollywood movies," she says. "So therefore, if you've assaulted a woman, you should just f**k off for a while."

During her Yahoo News chat with human rights activist Zainab Salbi, Jamil also gushed about her boyfriend James Blake, calling the singer a "good feminist."

"He's an ally, and he is very dedicated to the equal rights of women," she explained. And he's very good at supporting me when I falter, when it comes to believing in myself, and pushing for me to ask for more when I deserve more."
