'Witness an empty space,' Peele, who will host and narrate the CBS reboot, says, before asking, 'What dimension are you even in?'

AceShowbiz - It's just days after Jordan Peele's reboot of "The Twilight Zone" got a premiere date and fans have been treated to first teaser of the upcoming CBS All Access series. The new series, which is a new take on the 1960s classic science fiction anthology series, is taking people to another dimension in the new 1-minute footage.

The ad opens with an outside view of the stadium as an announcer narrates. However, the screen starts to glitch before a black screen appears. "CBS is off the air," reads the text on the screen.

The once filled stadium is now "an empty space" as Peele, who will serve as both host and narrator on the upcoming series, walking toward the middle of the field. "Witness an empty space, filled with thousands of screaming people. A man both no where and everywhere at the same time," Peele says in voiceover.

"Answers are new questions," the "Get Out" director continues. "The unthinkable is the expected. When truth is not the truth, what dimension are you even in?" Peele asks. Later, he's seen opening a door that is suspended on the field and stepping through, only to disappear on the other side.

The anthology series will star Steven Yeun, Ike Barinholtz, John Cho, Lucinda Dryzek, Taissa Farmiga and Greg Kinnear. They will also be joined by Luke Kirby, Sanaa Lathan, Kumail Nanjiani, Adam Scott, Rhea Seehorn, Allison Tolman, Jacob Tremblay, Jefferson White, Jonathan Whitesell, Jessica Williams and DeWanda Wise.

Cho, Tolman and Tremblay are set to appear together in an episode titled "The Wunderkind". Meanwhile, Wise and Williams will share screen in a different episode. As for Yeun, he will play the main character in "The Traveler", the fourth episode of the Jordan Peele series. The episode is set to follow two cops and a mysterious traveler.

The revival marks the latest attempt to bring back the series. The first two revivals ran from 1985-89 on CBS before it was followed with another reboot that aired on CBS from 2002-03.

Created by Rod Sterling in 1959, the original "The Twilight Zone" was a classic science fiction anthology series, with each science fiction, fantasy, or horror episode playing out a self-contained, moralistic story, often with a memorable twist. It ran for five seasons until 1964.

The rebooted "The Twilight Zone" will make a two-episode premiere on April 1 on CBS All Access.
