In a new interview, Victoria Monet claims that the rapper once stole music files from her and producer Tommy Brown before giving them to Kanye West and Teyana Taylor.

AceShowbiz - Uh oh, this won't do any good to Travis Scott (II)'s music career. Victoria Monet, who previously worked with the rapper on "Sin City" along with other eight musicians, has claimed in a new interview that the "Sicko Mode" hitmaker once stole music files from her and producer Tommy Brown to pass off as his own.

Speaking to Highsnobiety, 25-year-old Victoria recalled the time when Travis was living with her and Tommy in Los Angeles. "Funny Story. Travis Scott, when he first moved to L.A., he was living with me and Tommy on our couch," so she began her story. "So basically, Travis Scott took files from Tommy Brown and took them to Kanye [West] and said he produced them and it was on video."

According to Victoria, Travis apparently didn't only give songs to Kanye West as he also sent them to Teyana Taylor. "He took a song I had written a hook to and took it to Teyana Taylor for her to do and change a little bit," she continued. "So Tommy ended up finding out because the footage was on his hard drive or something. I can't quite remember but he saw him in the studio trying to act like he made the beat."

Despite the "Butterfly Effect" spitter's alleged theft, Victoria insisted that he isn't a bad guy, explaining that the music industry just has "it's good and bad parts." Calling him a "good person" at heart, she said, "He just wanted to win. But, that's what happened. A misunderstanding of him taking things to Kanye that he didn't really do."

Reps for Travis didn't immediately respond to request for comment.

This is not the first time Travis has been accused of stealing music. Back in 2016, he was accused of stealing songs from K. Forest and Starrah for his second studio album "Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight".
