AceShowbiz - TV fans may know David Letterman as someone who always brings laughter late night, but who'd guess that he would cause his wife Regina Lasko such a heartbreak. In 2009, he admitted that he had extramarital affairs after someone blackmailed him and threatened to reveal he had sex with several of his female employees. One of them was longtime personal assistant Stephanie Birkitt. Showing his regret, he devoted a segment of his "Late Show" for a public apology to his wife and staff. In a recent interview with Jay-Z, the 71-year-old host admitted, "I did something that I had no business doing, and I regret it, and since then I have tried to acknowledge that mistake and be a better person."
