In 2014, seven years into their marriage, McDermott admitted to have cheated on his wife in December 2013 in Toronto, while Tori and their four kids were celebrating the holidays. Dean subsequently went into rehab and they documented how they handled it on reality series "True Tori". It wasn't a short process, but the couple only got stronger with the birth of their fifth child in 2017. They still have many ups and downs, but choose to work through their issues together.
