The former '90210' actress takes a trip down memory lane with 'Scream 2' co-star Jamie Kennedy, recounting her experience on the franchise before landing a major magazine cover.

AceShowbiz - Tori Spelling, renowned for her role in "Beverly Hills, 90210", reflected on her unexpected journey to stardom following her brief cameo in the 1997 cult classic "Scream 2". During her latest iHeartRadio "misspelling" podcast episode, she shared her experience - and subsequent feelings of guilt - over landing the cover of Rolling Stone.

In a heartfelt conversation with her "Scream 2" co-star Jamie Kennedy, Spelling, 51, reminisced about the moment she realized her brief role in the film had led her to such a major milestone. "That was a little crazy," she recalled her initial reaction. "I was super psyched, even though I had like a tiny roll in it."

Despite her excitement, Spelling later felt ashamed at the "Scream 2" premiere, believing that her co-stars - Neve Campbell, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Courteney Cox, and Jada Pinkett Smith - deserved the spotlight more. "I just remember showing up at the Scream 2 premiere with my like, head hanging down because I was so ashamed," she told Kennedy.

However, her co-stars were incredibly supportive of her unexpected magazine moment. "They deserve to be on the cover and I got made the cover," Spelling reflected, visibly moved by their support.

More than two decades later, the "Scream" franchise is still thriving. Original stars like Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, and David Arquette are expected to reprise their respective roles for the upcoming "Scream 7", and Spelling would love to join them. In fact, she's already had an idea on how she could return to the horror universe.

In "Scream 2", Spelling portrayed Campbell's Sidney Prescott in "Stab", a fictional slasher franchise within "Scream" universe. "I played Sidney Prescott. She doesn't die. I mean, she took one movie off in the franchise, but she's back," she said, referring to Campbell's return after a brief absence.
