'It's not saying negative or positive about any body type, it's 'this is who they are,' ' veteran Angel says in a new interview.

AceShowbiz - While some people are criticizing Victoria's Secret following Chief Marketing Officer Ed Razek's offensive LGBTQ and plus-soze models comments, model Behati Prinsloo makes sure everyone knows that she's here for the brand's annual fashion show. Talking to Elle, the veteran Angel would like to remind everyone that it's just a show.

"I think Victoria's Secret embodies a lot of things," the 30-year-old stunner shared. "There's a lot of talk about everything but I think people need to also understand that it's a show. It's not saying negative or positive about any body type, it's 'this is who they are.' "

"We're strong, we're confident, and I think any woman is a Victoria's Secret woman. But people also need to understand that it's just a show," she continued. "I don't think that it says that they're not for a certain type of body."

The wife of Adam Levine added, "It's cool to talk about it and great to open up a conversation and so much good has happened. I think it's a show. Let's just have fun and not make it about anything and just have a great night and celebrate everyone."

Prinsloo's comments arrives after people skewer the show for Razek's remarks in an interview with Vogue that was published last month. While explaining VS' annual catwalk extravaganza doesn't look more diverse, Razek said, "It's like, why doesn't your show do this? Shouldn't you have transsexuals in the show? No. No, I don't think we should."

"Well, why not? Because the show is a fantasy. It's a 42-minute entertainment special. That's what it is," he went on saying.

Although Razek later issued an apology for his "insensitive" comments, it didn't stop some celebrities to slam the show. Joining Rihanna and Tess Holliday, Halsey was also among the celebrities who criticized the brand. The "Bad at Love" hitmaker, who performed at the show this year, said on Instagram, "If you are a trans person reading this, and these comments made you feel alienated or invalidated please know that you have allies. We stand in solidarity, and complete and total acceptance is the only 'fantasy' that I support..."
