Calling the 'God's Plan' hitmaker a finesser, the 'All Eyes on You' rapper spills on what the two of them did after they surprised Boston fans with stage collaboration back in September.

AceShowbiz - Meek Mill had to hand over $100,000 (£78,400) to his former rap rival Drake after losing a ping pong bet shortly after publicly squashing their beef onstage.

The two stars began feuding in 2015, when Meek accused the "God's Plan" hitmaker of using ghostwriters to pen his rhymes, but they have since made amends, and surprised fans by teaming up onstage in Boston, Massachusetts in September, as part of Drake's "Aubrey and the Three Migos Tour".

"We chopped it up onstage and did it out of the love," Meek explained in a new interview with Apple Music's Beats 1.

However, the get-together ended up costing him big after taking Drake on in a game of table tennis.

"After that we played ping-pong. He beat me out of $100,000," Meek confessed. "He did some slick Drake s**t. He's definitely a finesser (smooth guy)."

They reunited onstage a week later when the trek stopped in Meek's native Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and on Friday, November 30, he unveiled his new album, "Championships", which features a Drake collaboration called "Going Bad".

The 31-year-old reveals he and the Canadian superstar had been working through their personal differences for some time before joining forces on tour, but they have both emerged from the fall out "stronger" than ever.

"We actually been in contact, probably like a year before that," Meek told Los Angeles radio's "The Cruz Show". "But we was making the right timing (sic) and catching up to make it (public reunion) fully natural and be effective."

"The message was to send out love and build bridges, and not really separating bridges. You see a lot of bridges being separated in hip-hop all the time and everybody always takes things to another level where they can't be fixed. It was a competitive thing - we had fun. It built us, made us stronger."

"It was exciting," he added of sharing the stage with Drake. "We both had fun."

Meek previously admitted that at the height of their rap dispute, he was out of control, and in his Beats 1 chat, he recalls hitting his lowest point following his early 2017 split from Drake's close pal Nicki Minaj.

"I was going through s**t at the time. I was caught up," he explained. "I was getting high, going through media... public break-ups. I've got the biggest rap beef going on, and a lot of people not in my favour. So I'm not even in a good place."

"I had to revamp myself and just get to the money."

Meek's career also ground to a halt in November 2017 after he was jailed for violating his probation relating to a 2008 incident. He was released in April, and has since been campaigning for criminal justice reform, while also preparing for his comeback album, "Championships".
