AceShowbiz - Stars including Diana Ross, John Legend and Rita Ora will participate in the 2018 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

The Motown legend will perform on a float during the annual festive extravaganza around New York City on 22 November. She will be joined by family members, including children Tracee Ellis Ross and Evan Ross, and perform a song from her new Christmas album, according to The Associated Press.

"All of Me" singer John will also be taking part, singing tracks from his new holiday album, "A Legendary Christmas". Other performers include Rita, Martina McBride, Sugarland, Leona Lewis, Ashley Tisdale and Ally Brooke from Fifth Harmony.

And actress/singer Anika Noni Rose will be joined by the Muppets of "Sesame Street".

"This year's Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade will redefine spectacle with a jaw-dropping mix of must-see entertainment for millions of spectators," said Susan Tercero, executive producer of Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. "Featuring an amazing line-up of high flying balloons, dazzling animated floats, world-class marching bands and performance groups, the nation's top music artists, and of course, the one-and-only Santa Claus, the Macy's Parade will once again herald the arrival of the holiday season."

The 92nd annual parade will be broadcast live in the U.S. during the "Today" show on 22 November.
