The 'Deadpool' star and his wife mark his 42nd birthday by visiting polling station and voting early.

AceShowbiz - Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively marked his birthday by voting early. The Canadian actor, who turned 42 on Tuesday, October 23, and his wife posted several photos on social media on his special day and made use of it to encourage their followers to vote.

Blake took to her Instagram page to share a photo of her and her husband holding up their absentee ballots, with some colorful balloons in the background. Gushing about "The Proposal" star, the "Gossip Girl" alum wrote in the caption, "Happy Birthday to 2018's Sexiest Voter Alive @vancityreynolds #justvoted #absenteeballot party!"

Ryan shared a similar photo on his own Instagram account and wrote along with it, "What a birthday! I just smoked a huge bowl of early voting. #JustVoted @whenweallvote." The couple flashed a big smile to the camera.

Sharing another image taken after they cast their votes, Ryan called it his "best birthday ever ever." He added, "I have a new favorite four letter word. #JustVoted @WhenWeAllVote."

Ryan also shared his childhood image with his father to mark the occasion. In the snap, young Ryan was celebrating his birthday with a cake. He jokingly wrote in the caption, "‪Happy Birthday to me. Or as Dad used to affectionately say, 'the condom broke.' "

Meanwhile, fellow actor Hugh Jackman showed his love to the "Green Lantern" star by sharing a photo of the duo. In the image, Ryan was wearing his Deadpool costume without the mask, while Hugh was clad in a bathrobe.

Joking that he will let the birthday boy hug him this once on his special day, the Aussie hunk tweeted, "Because I'm told that I AM THE NICEST GUY and you're NOT. @VancityReynolds ... I will let you hug me. Just this once. On your birthday."

Ryan, who acquired a stake in Aviation American Gin in February this year, apparently took a day off on his birthday. He set up a funny OOTO response to those who send him email on [email protected] on Tuesday.

"Hello, I'm currently out of the office celebrating my birthday," it read. "In lieu of gifts, please forgive me for 80% of the looks I've foisted upon the unsuspecting public over the years." Attached to the email is a collage of photos of Ryan from his childhood to the recent ones, including pictures of his characters in "Just Friends" and "Deadpool".
