AceShowbiz - Patrick Stewart apparentLy isn't leaving his Enterprise crew behind. The actor recently reunited with a slew of his "Star Trek: The Next Generation" co-stars over Labor Day weekend.
The Jean-Luc Picard depicter enjoyed the holiday with some of his Starfleet comrades from the "Star Trek" series as they gathered together dinner. Marina Sirtis, who portrayed Commander Deanna Troi, shared a snap from the reunion on Twitter.
Featured in the photo were LeVar Burton (Geordi La Forge), Gates McFadden (Beverly Crusher), Brent Spiner (Data) and Michael Dorn (Worf). "The gang's all here. Well most of them anyway," Sirtis captioned it.

Noticeably absent during the get-together was Jonathan Frakes, who played Commander William Riker. It seems like the actor is busy directing "Star Trek: Discovery". Frakes recently posted a picture of him and "Discovery" character Saru (Doug Jones).

Stewart was also confirmed to reprise his role as Picard in a new CBS All Access series which will chronicle "the next chapter of Picard's life." The new series will mark the return of the fan-favorite chaacter after 12 years.
"I will always be very proud to have been a part of 'Star Trek: The Next Generation', but when we wrapped that final movie in the spring of 2002, I truly felt my time with 'Star Trek' had run its natural course," the actor shared. "It is, therefore, an unexpected but delightful surprise to find myself excited and invigorated to be returning to Jean-Luc Picard and to explore new dimensions within him. Seeking out new life for him, when I thought that life was over."
Created by Gene Roddenberry, "Star Trek: The Next Generation" ran for seven years from 1987 - 1994. Following the show's cancellation, the cast starred in "Star Trek Generations" (1994), "Star Trek: First Contact" (1996), "Star Trek: Insurrection" (1998) and "Star Trek: Nemesis" (2002).
