The 'Fancy' hitmaker asks the media to 'stop saying every man who is single you see me standing next to is someone I'm on a date with.'

AceShowbiz - Iggy Azalea is urging gossips to stop linking her romantically to "every man" she is pictured with, insisting the constant dating speculation is "super annoying".

The Fancy hitmaker sparked fresh rumours about her love life on Sunday, August 26, when she was photographed apparently leaving a restaurant in Malibu, California with Minnesota Timberwolves basketball star Jimmy Butler.

The paparazzo who snagged the shots of the pair smiling and talking in the eatery's parking lot claimed Iggy and Jimmy had also dined together, but after the images surfaced online on Monday, the Australian rapper took to her Instagram Story timeline to dismiss the claims.

"Can we please stop saying every man who is single you see me standing next to is someone I'm on a date with," she wrote. "S**t is corny and super annoying".

Iggy went on to insist the ongoing gossip makes her nervous to enjoy a casual conversation in public, because it's always spun into a tabloid headline.

"The whole thing gives me crazy anxiety & makes me feel like I can't have normal in passing conversations with people because everything ends up being some 'story' for the internet," she added.

The Butler rumours emerged days after Iggy insisted she was single after what appeared to be a brief relationship with American footballer DeAndre Hopkins.

Both she and DeAndre initially confirmed they were a couple in early August, after fans noticed they had been flirting openly on Instagram, but shortly after the news became public, they both declared they were not romantically attached, leaving followers confused.

"I'm single," the 28-year-old MC wrote beside a series of shrugging and blushing emojis. "I have come to the conclusion iam going to be alone forever. Iam completely fine with that. I have a routine now. I watch movies alone in the shower n s**t... its nice (sic)".

Iggy is used to high-profile romances - she was previously engaged to another basketball player, Nick Young, before breaking off the relationship in 2016, amid claims of his infidelity.

She was later linked to fellow rapper French Montana, and more recently Tyga, who features on her song Kream, in early July.
