The rapper's baby mama demands a significant raise in child support after his career skyrockets following his prison release in 2016.

AceShowbiz - Newlywed rapper Gucci Mane is facing a demand for more child support from his baby mama.

The I Get The Bag hitmaker, real name Radric Davis, is being taken back to court by Sheena Evans, the mother of his son Keitheon, born in 2007.

The former couple previously signed a financial agreement back in 2011, when Gucci was ordered to pay just over $2,000 (£1,550) a month in child support, after listing his income at the time at $24,000 (£18,600) a month.

Sheena claims there has since been a "significant change in circumstances" since Gucci was released from prison in the spring of 2016, after serving almost two years behind bars for aggravated assault charges.

His career has since skyrocketed, with new music, movie, TV, and other business ventures in the pipeline, and she is now seeking at least $20,000 (£15,500) a month from her ex to help pay for childcare and other costs, reports The Blast.

She is also asking for $15,000 (£11,600) in legal fees, and wants Gucci to be ordered to take out a $5 million (£3.9 million) life insurance policy to help cover mother and son should anything happen to him.

Sheena, who has primary physical custody of their boy, insists the 38-year-old hip-hop star can easily afford the increased child support, highlighting the $1.7 million (£1.3 million) he reportedly spent on his extravagant 2017 wedding to his girlfriend Keyshia Ka'oir.

A judge has yet to rule on the case.
