The former Pantera rocker died at his Las Vegas home unexpectedly in June, aged 54.

AceShowbiz - Former Pantera rocker Vinnie Paul died from natural causes as a result of heart issues, coroners have ruled.

The drummer, real name Vincent Paul Abbott, passed away at his Las Vegas home unexpectedly in June, aged 54, and now the Clark County Coroner has declared an enlarged heart, known as dilated cardiomyopathy, and severe coronary artery disease are to blame for his demise, reports TMZ.com.

Paul's body was taken to his native Texas, where he was laid to rest beside his mother, and his brother and former bandmate "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott, who was fatally shot onstage in 2004.

A public memorial was also held in Dallas on 1 July, a day after his private funeral.
