The two actors fell out in 2017, when Tyrese slammed Dwayne's decision to push on with a 'Fast and Furious' spin-off.

AceShowbiz - Tyrese Gibson's ex-wife has blamed the actor's failing career on his very public feud with Dwayne Johnson.

The "Fast and Furious" star alleged in legal documents earlier this week (ends August 19) that Norma Gibson ruined his Hollywood career by making "false domestic abuse allegations" during their bitter custody battle over their 11-year-old daughter, Shayla.

Norma accused her ex of being abusive towards her during their marriage and spanking Shayla so hard she couldn't sit down.

Tyrese now claims he makes 75 per cent less than he did 18 months ago - and it's all her fault.

However, his ex-wife blasted him in a new legal filing on Friday, August 17, and claimed it was Tyrese's very public spat with his "Fast and Furious" co-star Dwayne Johnson that cost him his career.

The two actors fell out in 2017, when Tyrese slammed Dwayne's decision to push on with a Fast spin-off, delaying the production of the ninth instalment in the main film series.

The movie, "Hobbs and Shaw", focuses on Dwayne's character Luke Hobbs and Deckard Shaw, played by Jason Statham, and hits cinemas next year. "Fast and Furious 9" is slated for a 2020 release.

"You mess with family and my daughters survival I mess with yours......... close your eyes dude you're a 'Clown'......" Tyrese ranted in a fiery post on Instagram at the time.

Dwayne revealed on "Watch What Happens Live" in July that he and Tyrese had yet to speak about the drama, and added: "That whole thing with Tyrese, it was pretty disappointing because I'd been friends with Tyrese for a very long time."

Earlier this week, the 39-year-old "Transformers" star claimed in legal docs that while he used to make $180,000 (£141,000) per month, but that figure has dropped dramatically in the last year, which he alleged was the direct consequence of Norma's domestic abuse allegations.

Tyrese also alleges he spent over $200,000 (£157,000) fighting Norma and now has to use his savings to pay his monthly bills, including a hefty $10,853 (£8,502) in child support, because his monthly outgoings far outweigh his income.
