AceShowbiz - Singer Jason Mraz has found a new passion in farming.

The I'm Yours hitmaker has been growing a variety of crops, like avocados, mangoes, passion fruit and coffee beans, on his expansive property, all for private consumption.

However, he finds cultivating coffee beans to be his most difficult task.

"It's very laborious," he told Live with Kelly and Ryan on Friday, August 17. "It actually grows as a cherry... A red, delicious, sweet cherry that you can eat as a fruit, it's caffeinated and delicious. The seed inside is what we know as the finished coffee bean."

Mraz enjoys being on his farm so much that it has taken away from another pastime of his - surfing.

"(I don't do it) as much now because I have many jobs now and I feel guilty when I leave the farm to go surfing," he added. "I rather be out there (working)."
