AceShowbiz - It's official! Barry Allen will don a new costume in upcoming season 5 of "The Flash". And much to fans' excitement, star Grant Gustin decides to give fans a sneak peek at the new suit as he uploads the first-look photos on his Instagram account.

The actor later follows it up with another photo, which sees him giving a better look at the new costume in a mirror-selfie. "Was given the 'ok' to give you guys a little bonus sneak peek. I took this shot late last night during our night shoot. I was clearly feeling myself. I truly love this suit," he says.

One thing that fans first notice is the absence of The Flash' chin-piece. In addition, the new outfit seems to be a more streamlined version of his previous ones. It trades leather aesthetic fabric for a different one which seemingly is more comfortable for the actor.

It can also be seen that the new costume features a smaller chest emblem. It also has a semi-translucent neck.

Replying to a fan who asks about the old outfit, Grant reveals that "this is my personal favorite thus far, when the cowl is down." He continues, "I dug that one too, but no zipper in the front and no leather creates a much more streamlined look."

This arrives after Grant slammed body shamer who made fun of his skinny figure on a leaked photo. "Here's the thing about this bulls**t photo leak," he raged on Instagram. "It's a cool suit (but) it's a terrible photo that I was unaware was being taken, much less being posted. Some things need work and they will be worked on. We'll get there."

The 28 year old added, "As far as the body shaming. That's what p**ses me off. Not even just for my sake. I've had 20+ years of kids and adults telling me or my parents I was too thin. I've had my own journey of accepting it. But there's a double standard where it's (not) ok to talk s**t about a dudes body."

Season 5 of "The Flash" will premiere on Tuesday, October 9 at 8 P.M. on The CW.
