The episode about the movement is titled '#MurphyToo' and is set to be the upcoming revival show's fourth episode.

AceShowbiz - More details about the upcoming revival of "Murphy Brown" have been revealed. During the show's panel at the Television Critics Association summer press tour in Beverly Hills, it was announced that the new iteration would tackle #MeToo movement in one episode.

"It's a powerful movement," executive produce Diane English shared. "We wanted to do it justice, and the episode title is '#MurphyToo'."

The panelist also talked about the ongoing scandal that involves CBS Corp. CEO Leslie Moonves. "I just want to say on behalf of everybody on our show, we take the allegations of sexual conduct extremely seriously," English said, adding that the idea of "#MurphyToo" episode came months before the whole Moonves scandal.

"That will be our fourth episode. We support the investigation fully [into Moonves]. None of us had a negative experience like that at CBS. We never experienced any kind of sexual misconduct. No one on my crew has," she continued.

When asked regarding the details about the episode, English refused to give away some spoilers. However, she teased, "I can tell you that in the writer's room we have a great collection if people, men and women, gay and straight, who developed this episode. We came at it from so many different angles. It's such a complicated issue. I don't think there is a woman out here who hasn't had some experience with misogyny or misconduct."

Star Candice Bergen, meanwhile, weighed in on President Donald Trump attacking the press. "The news now, thanks to our president, is in constant turmoil," she said. "I think it will be reassuring to see Murphy sticking up for the press and sticking up to the president."

The actress also said that she actually had prepared herself should Trump despise the show, saying, "I don't know what the reaction will be, and I'm trying to brace myself."

The revival will follow Bergen's Murphy, who creates a morning show with her former FYI colleagues played by Faith Ford, Joe Regalbuto and Grant Shaud. Her son Avery (Jake McDorman), meanwhile, is working for a conservative news network called Wolf, though he plays a liberal talking head.

"Murphy Brown" is set to premiere on September 27 at 9.30 P.M. on CBS.
